On March 13, 2018, Australia Post issued a stamp pack to celebrate the Superman 80th Anniversary. Each pack includes a sheetlet of ten Superman tabs and ten $1 AUD stamps. The Superman tabs are not valid for postage. The format is similar to previous Superman releases from Australia Post in 2016 and 2017.

The Australia map stamp was originally issued on January 25, 2016, as part of the Love to Celebrate series (Scott Australia #4522). The Australia stamp was designed by Sierra Delta in Burnley, Victoria.

The Superman tabs feature artworks from 1938–2016 by Wayne Boring, José Luis García-López, Gary Frank, Jim Lee, Joe Shuster, Patrick Zircher, John Byrne, and Jack Burnley.

The Superman 80th Anniversary cover was penciled by Tony Daniel, inked by Danny Miki, and colored by Tomeu Morey. The cover pays homage to the first appearance of Superman in Action Comics #1 (June 1938). The original cover was illustrated by an unnamed staff member at Detective Comics based on a newspaper submission by Joe Shuster.

The back of the stamp pack features the variant cover of Action Comics #976 (May 2017). The image was illustrated by Gray Frank and colored by Brad Anderson.
