1969 Libro Festival del Mundo de la Historieta
Libro Festival del Mundo de la Historieta (Cartoon World Festival Book) is a
collector album released by Editoral Novaro in 1969. The panels are printed on advertisements inside of comic books distributed throughout Latin America. There are two to four images included inside the
front and back covers of issues released in 1969. The comic panels were designed to be cut out and pasted into
the Libro Festival del Mundo de la Historieta collector album. The album text is printed in Spanish.
Editoral Novaro was founded in Mexico by Luis and Octavio Novaro. From 1949–1985, Editoral Novaro published Spanish translations of American titles licensed from DC Comics, Dell Comics, Gold Key Comics, and Archie Comics.

The Superman panel is based on an illustration by Wayne Boring. The Superman
family is featured on two full pages in the collector album.
Collector album sticker-cards are often referred to as cromos or figuritas in Spanish. The collectibles are called vignettes in French, figurines or panini in Italian, and figurinhas in Portuguese. Many sticker album collections released in the 20th century required paste or glue.
