Sunshine Bakeries : DC Super Heroes

Sunshine Bakeries of Singapore released a 20-card series of DC Super Heroes trading cards around 1978. The card text is printed in English, Malay, and Mandarin Chinese. There are two different cards for each character. One card was randomly inserted in specially marked loaves of bread from Sunshine.

One Superman card reprints the iconic "Kryptonite Nevermore!" illustration by Neal Adams. The image first appeared on the cover of Superman vol. 1, no. 233 (January 1971). The other Superman card is an image from the Super DC Calendar 1976 back cover penciled by Neal Adams and inked by Dick Giordano.

Each card measures 2 x 3 inches, smaller than a standard trading card. The back of each card lists "Your 10 Sunshine super heroes." Each card contains a cut-away contest ticket that reads, "Ceraiken bahagian ini untuk penyertaan" and "Detach this portion for entry."
