2000 Warner Bros. Studio Store : Superman Racecar

The Warner Bros. Studio Store issued a series of die-cast metal racecars featuring Batman, Scooby-Doo, and Superman in 2000. Each 1:64 scale racecar is packaged with a collector card. The cards are unnumbered and the backs contain a brief character biography. The toy cars originally retailed for $5.00 each.

The Superman Racecar card depicts a promotional image from Superman: The Animated Series based on designs by Bruce Timm and James Tucker. The cartoon debuted as a WB! Network primetime movie on September 6, 1996. The series aired on the Kids' WB network until February 12, 2000.
