2024 Upper Deck : DC Preview Trading Card
DC Super Heroes and Super Villains trading cards are forthcoming from
The Upper Deck Company and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products.
The partnership was officially announced on June 13, 2024. The
2023–24 DC Annual Inaugural Edition
was released on March 12, 2025. Planned series include
Fleer Ultra Superman, Batman 85th Anniversary,
DC Masterpieces, DC Unbound, and
SkyBox Metal Universe Batman.
Superman is featured on a limited Upper Deck DC Preview card sold
exclusively on the e-Pack website from June 13–20, 2024. Each e-Pack contained
one preview card with short print foil color variations distributed in Red
(1:25) and Blue (1:50). The preview card artwork reprints the cover of
Action Comics #1000 (June 2018). The image was penciled by Jim Lee,
inked Scott Williams, and colored by Alex Sinclair.
The back of the Upper Deck DC Preview card features Superman
illustrations by Fred Ray, Jim Lee, Curt Swan, and Neal Adams.
Fleer/SkyBox
previously distributed DC Comics and Superman trading cards from
1992–1997. The
Fleer and SkyBox brands were acquired by The Upper Deck Company in
2005. >Upper Deck Entertainment produced DC Comics sets and expansions for the
Vs. System trading card game from 2004–2007.
