CZX Crisis on Infinite Earths trading cards were released by Cryptozoic Entertainment on January 19, 2022. The premium series showcases scenes from The CW crossover event that aired from December 2019 to January 2020. The storyline is loosely based on the 12-issue "Crisis on Infinite Earths" limited series published from April 1985 to March 1986 by DC Comics. CZX Crisis on Infinite Earths was first teased by Cryptozoic in an April 2020 newsletter.

Hobby boxes were originally priced at $198. Each box contains 6 packs of 6 cards. The base set is comprised of 50 cards printed on thick, glossy cardstock embossed with foil. On average, each box contains an autograph, a sketch card, a "CZX STR PWR" insert, and a foil base parallel card.

Wardrobe memorabilia card odds are 1:9 packs. Red foil base parallels are serial numbered to 125 (1:6 packs), green are numbered to 45 (1:18 packs), and silver parallels are numbered to 25 (1:30 packs). Randomly inserted CMYK printing plates are numbered 1/1.

Exclusive 4 x 6 inch oversized cards were available from the Cryptozoic eBay store from May 24, 2022, through August 21, 2023. The limited subset features autographs and wardrobe relics from Stephen Amell, Grant Gustin, and Melissa Benoist.

The crossover event featured three different multiverse versions of Superman. Tyler Hoechlin appears as the Superman of Earth-38 from the Supergirl television series. Hoechlin currently stars in Superman & Lois. The show debuted on February 23, 2021, and a fourth season is scheduled to air in Fall 2024.

Brandon Routh appears as the Superman of Earth-96. The older Superman is loosely based on the award-winning Elseworlds series Kingdom Come by Mark Waid and Alex Ross. Brandon Routh previously portrayed Kal-El and Clark in the 2006 film Superman Returns. Routh also appeared in the Arrowverse as Ray Palmer, The Atom.

Erica Durance and Tom Welling reprised their roles as Lois Lane and Clark Kent living in an alternate Smallville of Earth-167.

Superman & Lois star Elizabeth "Bitsie" Tulloch appears as Lois Lane of Earth-38.

Melissa Benoist stars as Superman's cousin, Kara Zor-El, from the Supergirl television series.

Tyler Hoechlin appears with Candice Patton as Iris West-Allen and Tom Cavanagh as Pariah on card #29, "To the Vanishing Point."

A "CZX STR PWR" subset card is inserted into each box. Silver parallels are serial numbered to 105 (1:18 packs) and Gold parallels are numbered to 55 (1:36 packs). Black parallels and printing plates for each insert are numbered 1/1.

  

A one-of a kind hand-drawn sketch card or redemption is inserted into each box. The number of Superman sketch cards produced for this series is unlisted. Each box contains an autograph card or a mail-away autograph redemption. The deadline for redemptions expired on November 15, 2023. Approximately 1:53 packs contain a Dual Autograph, Triple Autograph, or a 1/1 Sketch Autograph.

Tom Welling signed 125 Autograph cards as Clark Kent. CZX Crisis is the first licensed trading card set to contain Welling signatures. Welling also signed 40 Dual Autograph cards with Erica Durance as Lois Lane, and 40 Dual Autograph cards with Brandon Routh as Clark Kent. Brandon Routh signed 75 Autograph cards as Superman.

Single and Dual Wardrobe memorabilia card odds are approximately 1:9 packs. A plaid shirt relic worn by Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent is numbered to 299 copies. Hoechlin also appears on Dual Wardrobe cards numbered to 199 with Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers. Superman and Supergirl appear on Dual Wardrobe cards numbered to 50 copies, each containing costumes relics from Hoechlin and Benoist.

Brandon Routh appears as Superman on one of three promo cards randomly inserted into February/March 2021 issues of Non-Sport Update magazine.
